When should I change my engine oil?
Every 5,000 kms or aprox. 2 months for Mineral Oil and every 10,000 kms or aprox. 4 months for Synthetic Oil..

When should I change my transmission fluid?
Every 30,000 kms or 1 year due to the hot tropical weather of Panama.

When should I change the brake fluid?
Every year or 30,000 kms for ABS systems, and every 2 years or 60,000 kms for older non ABS systems. Brake fluid must be changed since it is hydroscopic, absorbs and creates humidity deposits which could damage different parts of the brake system.

When should I replace shocks and struts?
Every 45,000 kms or aprox. 1 1/2 years.

Which is better: mineral or synthetic oil?
Synthetic oil, since it contains better lube properties, it is more heat resistant and protects your engine while working at low temperatures, it is cleaner preventing engine sludge, saving fuel, generating less friction, and extending the useful life of your engine while increasing its power.

When should I rotate / change my tires.
Tire rotation must be performed at least every 20,000 kms. Timely tire rotation prevents front tires wore down and explode which could cause steering control failures when driving at high speeds. Tire change is recommended every 60,000 kms or 2 years.
